Hengeler Mueller with Amprion on new €6.5 billion syndicated revolving credit facility
Hengeler Mueller advised Amprion, as the Dortmund-based transmission system operator refinanced its existing €3.2 billion syndicated loan ahead of maturity and signed a new syndicated revolving credit facility in a total amount of €6.5 billion with a group of 15 banks.
The syndicated facility has an initial tenor of five years with two extension options of one year each. In addition, the agreement includes an option to increase the facility by up to €2 billion (both subject to the approval of the participating banks).
