Togo and Müller join Ampersand as soft-IP partners

Ampersand‘s team will be joined in the beginning of 2025 by soft-IP partners Dr. Federica Togo and Dr. Tobias Malte Müller (both pictured), along with Dr. Lena Carla Weber, Andre Heimann, and two paralegals, Iuliana Popescu and Stephanie Esterl.

Togo and Müller both come from the law firm Taliens. Federica Togo is a German and Italian qualified attorney. She focuses on all aspects of trademark, design and domain name issues (litigation, custom seizure, prosecution and portfolio management). She represents clients, in particular in the fields of automotive, cosmetics, food & beverage, telecommunications, media & entertainment/sports and fashion before courts and trademark offices. She has particular experience in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union. She further provides advice on anticompetitive issues including on selective distribution systems.

Müller is a German and Italian qualified attorney as well and co-heads the trademark, design and domain name practice in the Taliens Munich office. He represents clients in the fields of food & beverage, telecommunications, media & sports, automotive, fashion and cosmetics in infringement and anti-counterfeiting proceedings before German courts. Together with his team, he administers international trademark and design portfolios and advises his clients on IP related matters within transactions/due diligence proceedings. He also represents artists, creatives and publishing houses in copyright enforcement proceedings. Another focus of his activity lies on advising stakeholders in the sports sector (Football, Motorsports, Cycling). Finally, he also advises on unfair competition/advertisement, plant varieties and on general litigation/arbitration matters.
