Strategic move for Paul Hastings: Latham Partner Nikolaos Paschos joins Frankfurt office
Dr. Nikolaos Paschos (pictured), 56 years-old corporate and business law expert collaborating with law firm Latham & Watkins in Düsseldorf, has made a significant move, joining US competitor Paul Hastings in Frankfurt effective February.
Initially with Linklaters and since 2017 with Latham & Watkins, Paschos played a pivotal role in the strategic development of the Düsseldorf offices and corporate law practices of these firms. Among his recent clients are names like Teamviewer, Brenntag, or Allianz, entrusting him with complex transactions, acquisitions, and restructuring endeavors. He also advised private equity investors like Brookfield on strategic acquisitions.
Paul Hastings’ team further gains Counsel Jörg Ruff, who moves from Munich-based GLNS, having been part of Paschos’ team at Latham & Watkins until about three years ago.
With its Frankfurt office, Paul Hastings expands to nine partners in Germany.
