Salesforce promotes Patrick Margner to senior corporate counsel in Germany

Patrick Margner (pictured) has been promoted to senior corporate counsel / Syndikusrechtsanwalt at Salesforce in Germany, marking his latest step within the US technology company after almost eight years with the business.

Based in the Greater Munich area, Margner has been part of Salesforce’s German legal team since November 2018. He initially joined as legal counsel / Syndikusrechtsanwalt before becoming corporate counsel in 2023. He took on his new senior role in August 2026.

Prior to Salesforce, Margner worked as junior legal counsel / Syndikusrechtsanwalt at FlixBus in Munich. His earlier experience includes a legal traineeship at REWE Group and more than two years as a research associate at German law firm AfA Rechtsanwälte in Nuremberg.

Margner has also been practising as a self-employed lawyer in Germany since 2018.
