Hogan Lovells Cadwalader advises Cube on firstcolo sale to CVC DIF
Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has advised Cube Infrastructure Managers on the sale of Firstcolo to CVC DIF. The transaction is expected to close by the end of September 2026, subject to customary conditions.
About Firstcolo
Firstcolo was founded in 2007 and is a data centre and infrastructure partner in the Frankfurt metropolitan area. The company operates two data centres in the region.
The FRA7 project
Following the transaction, the focus for the company lays on the greenfield project FRA7 in Rosbach vor der Höhe, in the Frankfurt metropolitan area. The site will have a total capacity of up to 24 MW, or up to 16 MW of IT load, and is designed for AI, high-performance computing, and cloud workloads, having been planned as an AI-ready data centre from the outset.
