Orth Kluth Secures Energy Law Specialist from Arnecke Sibeth
Energy law expert and equity partner from Arnecke Sibeth Dabelstein, Margarete von Oppen (pictured), together with her team are making a strategic move to Orth Kluth’s Berlin office to its energy team.
Prior to her tenure at Arnecke Sibeth, von Oppen ran her own law firm, focusing primarily on renewable energy. Her expertise lies in energy law, project developments for heat and electricity generation, and issues related to the electricity market. Additionally, she provides counsel on energy supply contracts, with a client base including project developers, ministries, associations, insurers, and banks.
Maximilian Grett, along with a project lawyer, will accompany von Oppen to Orth Kluth. Grett, formerly a Counsel at Arnecke Sibeth, will join as an associate. The Berlin office of the firm will now boast a team of 18 professionals, including 5 partners.
