Freshfields advises Bending Spoons on Tractive acquisition

Freshfields has advised Bending Spoons on its acquisition of Tractive, a pet location tracking and health monitoring company founded in 2012 and headquartered in Pasching, Austria. The transaction marks Bending Spoons’ first expansion into hardware-enabled software.

Bending Spoons, which owns brands including Evernote, Vimeo, WeTransfer, Eventbrite and Meetup, intends to invest in Tractive over the long term, with plans to expand its health and safety capabilities and develop next-generation devices.
