Clyde & Co hires tech & data partner in Düsseldorf

Clyde & Co is bolstering its tech & data practice in Germany with two lateral hires from DLA Piper. Thorsten Ammann (pictured) joins the firm’s Düsseldorf office as a partner, with Florian Achnitz set to follow as a senior associate shortly after. The additions bring the firm’s German IT law and data protection team to seven lawyers.

At DLA Piper, Ammann served as co-head of the German technology sector group and head of the German AI subgroup. His practice focuses on complex, large-scale international IT, data and transformation projects, with particular emphasis on artificial intelligence.
