Canali, Beniamino Papini as new group general counsel
New role for Beniamino Papini (pictured), who arrives as group general counsel at Canali, an Italian company founded in 1934 and specialised in the production of men’s luxury garments.
The professional, who will lead a team of four lawyers in total, has almost 25 years of experience as a corporate lawyer behind him, gained first in the legal management of Telecom Italia Media, where he was from 2002 to 2007, then in Aeroporto di Firenze (now Toscana Aeroporti) where he was head of legal affairs from 2007 to 2012. From 2012 to 2023 he held the position of director of legal corporate, compliance & operations at Sky Italia (Comcast Group) and then moved to the free market working as a consultant for the firm Pedersoli Gattai in secondment at Canali. His position was internalised in March 2024.
The Canali Group has five production centres all in Italy and over 1500 employees worldwide. The brand is present in more than 100 countries worldwide with its 190 boutiques and over 1000 retail shops.
