Eversheds Sutherland with Ronma on investment within Soluxtec’s restructuring
Eversheds Sutherland advised Ronma Deutschland, a subsidiary of the Chinese Ronma Solar Group, on the acquisition of assets and its entry as a strategic investor as part of the restructuring of Soluxtec, a German manufacturer of photovoltaic modules.
The context
On 1 July 2026, the Amtsgericht Bitburg opened insolvency proceedings over the assets of Soluxtec. As part of a structured investor process, Ronma Deutschland GmbH, a rapidly growing strategic investor from the international photovoltaic industry, was selected. Ronma intends to preserve and further develop the Soluxtec brand, the existing production facilities, and k/y elements of the company’s technical expertise at the site.
