Latham & Watkins advises Thyssengas on €1.4bn financing

Latham & Watkins has advised Thyssengas — a transmission system operator focused on supplying gas to municipal utilities, industrial plants and power stations in western Germany — on a new €1.4 billion platform financing. The transaction comprises a revolving credit facility provided by a consortium of banks, alongside private placement tranches from a combination of European and US investors.

The Latham & Watkins team was led by London infrastructure partners Seonaid Todisco and Conrad Andersen, supported by associates Lothar Krumpen, Tabatha Baylis, and Atharva Deshpande.

Regulatory matters were handled by Frankfurt partner Joachim Grittmann, while tax advice was provided by Munich partner Ulf Kieker and London partner Karl Mah, with associates Pastora Little-Morgan and Henning Kleymann.
