White & Case advises on bank syndicate on Deutsche Börse convertible bond
White & Case LLP has advised the bank syndicate, including Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas as Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners and Barclays and JP Morgan as Joint Bookrunners, on the inaugural issuance of a senior unsecured convertible bond by Deutsche Börse. The bond carries a total nominal amount of €600 million and matures on September 16, 2031, with a fixed coupon of 0.50% per annum.
Deal details
Settlement of the convertible bond is expected to occur on September 16, 2026. The instrument will be convertible into new and/or existing registered no-par value shares of Deutsche Börse, with the existing shareholders’ subscription rights excluded from the issuance.
Deutsche Börse intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including the refinancing of existing debt.
