Thomas Freund joined Hogan Lovells’ banking team in Munich
Global law firm Hogan Lovells has announced the appointment of Dr Thomas Freund (pictured) as a partner in the firm’s Banking and Loan Finance practice, based in the Munich office. Freund is a leveraged finance specialist and a recognized player in the German LBO market. He has particular experience in acting for banks and credit funds, as well as private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers, on leveraged financings and he has also advised on complex debt restructurings.
He joined Hogan Lovells in March from Eversheds Sutherland where he served as Co-Head of the German Banking and Finance Practice and brings with him three members of his existing team.
