Portolano Cavallo appoints Daniela Amhof as head of the German desk
Portolano Cavallo, a full-service Italian law firm in the Digital-Media-Tech and Life Sciences-Healthcare sectors, announced the appointment of Daniela Amhof (PICTURED) as new counsel responsible for the German Desk, specialized in legal assistance to clients from the DACH region and South Tyrol.
Daniela Amhof has over 15 years of experience assisting German-speaking clients and has developed an in-depth understanding of their needs and expectations in the Italian market.
The professional specialized in civil, commercial, and corporate litigation, often of a cross-border nature, handling complex commercial disputes, post-M&A disputes, abuse of dominant position cases, and generally disputes involving contractual, non-contractual, and pre-contractual liabilities.
Before joining Portolano Cavallo, Amhof worked for approximately twelve years in the Litigation and Arbitration department of Gianni & Origoni and previously at a boutique law firm specializing in assisting German-speaking clients.
“We are proud to welcome Daniela Amhof to the team,” commented Micael Montinari, head of Portolano Cavallo’s Litigation Practice Group. “We are always looking for talents to contribute to the growth and development of our practice areas. Her litigation experience will undoubtedly add value to our practice. Moreover, as a native German speaker, she is the ideal person to lead the new German Desk. This project aligns with the firm’s international orientation.”
“Joining an innovative and constantly expanding firm like Portolano Cavallo represents a great opportunity for me, which I embrace with enthusiasm,” said Daniela Amhof. “I am grateful for the trust placed in me to lead the new German Desk. This new chapter in my professional journey will allow me to leverage all the skills I have acquired, to strengthen the Litigation area and contribute to the firm’s development.”
