Noerr advises DUBAG on JPT Peptide acquisition
The LEO III Fund, managed by the Munich-based DUBAG Group, has acquired JPT Peptide Technologies GmbH from BioNTech Diagnostics GmbH. A Noerr team led by Markus A. Braun and Georg Schneider advised DUBAG on the transaction.
The target company
JPT was founded in 2004 as a spin-off from Jerini AG and provides peptide-based research and development solutions. Operating out of Berlin, the company is active across the biopharma, cell and gene therapy, vaccine development, immunology, proteomics and academic research sectors. Under the ownership of the LEO III Fund, JPT will operate as a stand-alone company.
DUBAG Group is an investment advisory team based in Munich that manages private equity funds focused on the acquisition and active development of companies in special situations.
Deal team
The Noerr team advising DUBAG Group was led on the corporate side by Markus A.
