Noerr advises ABP on Vion’s Buchloe facility acquisition
A Noerr team led by partners Thomas Schulz and Vanessa Hoffmann Linhard advised ABP GmbH, an affiliate of the Irish-headquartered ABP Food Group, on its market entry into Germany through the acquisition of Vion Food Group’s beef processing facility in Buchloe. The Buchloe plant processes approximately 90,000 head of cattle annually, with cattle sourced primarily from southern Germany.
ABP is a European meat processor operating as a family-owned group that supplies retailers and foodservice operators with fresh and frozen meat products. The company runs processing facilities in Ireland and the United Kingdom, alongside affiliate sites in the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland.
