Marco Giorgetta appointed as Douglas’ group CFO in Düsseldorf
Marco Giorgetta (PICTURED) assumed the role of group chief financial officer (CFO) for DOUGLAS in May 2025, working from the company’s headquarters in Düsseldorf.
His professional journey with the DOUGLAS organization began following the group’s acquisition of Italian selective beauty retailer Limoni in 2017. Prior to this transition, Giorgetta had served as both CFO and Managing Director at Limoni from 2013 to 2017, where he gained extensive experience in the selective beauty retail sector.
After joining DOUGLAS, Giorgetta was tasked with overseeing the financial integration of the Italian operations as CFO of DOUGLAS Italy. His responsibilities expanded in 2021 when he was promoted to CFO of DOUGLAS Southern Europe, broadening his regional oversight across multiple markets.
Giorgetta’s career foundation includes significant experience in the financial services sector. He has worked with prominent private equity firms including Bridgepoint and Orlando Italy, gaining valuable insights into investment strategies and corporate finance. His background also encompasses a role at the prestigious investment banking institution Morgan Stanley, along with experience in technology consulting at Neptuny, which later became known as Moviri.
His educational credentials reflect a strong technical foundation combined with international exposure. Giorgetta earned his degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, one of Italy’s leading technical universities. He further enhanced his technical expertise by completing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago, providing him with both European and American academic perspectives.
