Hogan Lovells advises COTP on ibis Styles hotel acquisition
Hogan Lovells has advised The Chocolate on the Pillow Group (COTP), a hotel operator active across the DACH region, on the acquisition of the ibis Styles hotel located in Hamburg-Barmbek. The transaction covered contract drafting and negotiations, as well as real estate and corporate law matters.
The acquired property comprises 188 rooms and benefits from strong transport links to Hamburg’s city centre and key business districts. The building last underwent extensive modernization in 2021.
About the buyer
COTP operates numerous hotel properties in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland under international brands including Accor, Marriott, and InterContinental. The group’s strategy centres on carefully selected locations and collaborative partnerships with international hotel chains.
