GfS Gesellschaft für Sicherheitstechnik sold to Assa Abloy: the advisors
The commercial law firm Gütt Olk Feldhaus (GOF) – with a team led by Dr Heiner Feldhaus (PICTURED LEFT) – has advised Maxburg Beteiligungen on the sale of GfS Gesellschaft für Sicherheitstechnik to ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik, advised by Clifford Chance, with a team led by Dr Moritz Petersen (PICTURED RIGHT).
GfS will continue to operate as an independent division under the existing management team. GfS Gesellschaft für Sicherheitstechnik is one of the leading European manufacturers of escape route security systems. The owner-managed family business from Hamburg has been developing, manufacturing and selling these systems for over 40 years. Its customers include retail stores, hospitals, care homes, airports and museums.
Maxburg Beteiligungen, an investment company focused on the German-speaking region and advised by Maxburg Capital Partners, concentrates on long-term investments in companies. Maxburg invests in both privately held and listed companies.
