Freshfields advises Asieris on license agreement with Theramex
Freshfields advised Asieris Pharmaceutical, a biopharmaceutical company focused on genitourinary tumours and women’s health, on a conditional exclusive license agreement with Theramex, a specialty pharmaceutical company dedicated to women’s health.

Asieris retains rights to the product in the rest of the world and will continue to support the programme through its development and manufacturing capabilities. The transaction structure includes an upfront payment, regulatory and commercial milestone payments, and tiered royalties, with the aggregate value of the deal exceeding US$250 million.
