Fresenius Medical Care: Angela Kölbl is the new general counsel

Angela Kölbl (PICTURED) has been appointed as the new general counsel at Fresenius Medical Care, a German healthcare company which provides kidney dialysis services through a network of more than 4,170 outpatient dialysis centers. With a global headquarters in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Germany, and a North American headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts, Fresenius has a 38% market share of the dialysis market in the United States.

Dr Kölbl is a business lawyer and legal leader with several years of experience in advising international businesses. She used to work at law firm Hogan Lovells and in 2010 she moved in-house to work in the legal teams of Siemens (until 2020), Siemens Energy (until 2021) and Mercedes-Benz Group (until this year).
