Flix promotes Celina Wappner to Group Chief Compliance Officer
Celina Wappner (pictured) has taken on the role of Head of Compliance & Data Protection and Group Chief Compliance Officer at Flix (Flixbus), effective October 2026.
The appointment marks a further step in her career within the company, which she joined in June 2022 as Expert Legal Counsel Compliance & Data Protection. She became Principal Legal Counsel Data Protection & Compliance in April 2025.
Before joining Flix, Wappner worked at Sky Deutschland, holding management roles focused on data protection, compliance governance and processes. Earlier in her career, she practised as a lawyer at Brehm & v. Moers in Munich.
Alongside her corporate work, Wappner has been a lecturer at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt since October 2022.
