DLA Piper advises Arkéa REIM on acquisition of property in Rosenheim
DLA Piper has once again provided legal and tax advice to Arkéa Real Estate Investment Management (Arkéa REIM), a French asset manager specializing in sustainable real estate investments, on the acquisition of “The eriX,” an office and light industrial property in Rosenheim. The acquisition was executed as an asset deal through the Transitions Europe fund managed by Arkéa REIM.
The DLA Piper team was led by Partner Dr. Gerold Jaeger (PICTURED) and Counsel Philip Heinzel-Flothmann, with a core team comprising Associates Dr. Christian Kleindopff and Lena Roder (all Real Estate, Düsseldorf) and Senior Transaction Specialist Sabrina Becker (Real Estate, Frankfurt). Additionally, Partner Dr. Marie-Theres Rämer, Counsel Albina Daka, Associate Lukas Panhans, and Consultant Sabrina Ulbrich (all Tax, Frankfurt) were involved in the transaction.
The eriX property in Rosenheim comprises approximately 25,000 square meters and is primarily used as production space. The asset consists of two LEED-certified buildings (Gold and Silver) leased to a high-tech and telecommunications tenant with a long-established presence at the location. The deal reinforces the fund’s strategy of investing in sustainable and future-proof properties across European markets. With this transaction, Arkéa REIM strengthens its presence in Germany and underscores the importance of ESG-compliant investments.
Arkéa REIM is part of the French banking group Arkéa and manages real estate funds focused on sustainable investments in Europe. Headquartered in France, the company serves institutional investors with a growing portfolio of office, residential, and industrial properties.
Sienna Real Estate Germany again acted as German investment manager for the client.
