Gleiss Lutz and Linklaters advise VW board on Everllence stake sale

Gleiss Lutz and Linklaters have advised the Volkswagen Group on an exclusive agreement with Bain Capital for the sale of a 51% majority stake in Everllence. The transaction, structured as a leveraged buyout, is expected to generate proceeds of approximately €7.4 billion for Volkswagen.

The deal remains subject to the completion of mandatory information and consultation processes with employee representation bodies in France, as well as regulatory approvals from the relevant authorities. All conditions, including those regulatory approvals, are targeted to be fulfilled by the end of 2026.
