HSF Kramer strengthens Düsseldorf office with IP partner hire

HSF Kramer has expanded its intellectual property capabilities in Germany with the addition of Philipp Cepl (PICTURED) as a new partner in its Düsseldorf office.

The incoming lawyer joins from DLA Piper, bringing significant experience in IP matters and patent litigation, advising clients across technology, life sciences – including pharmaceuticals, medical devices and biotechnology – as well as the automotive sector.

With this addition, the Düsseldorf IP team now counts three partners, following earlier hires including Florian Schmidt-Bogatzky, who joined from EIP last year, and Ima vom Feld, recruited in 2018.

This move reflects HSF Kramer’s continued investment in growing its IP practice and enhancing its offering to clients in Düsseldorf and across Germany.
