Hogan Lovells advises Volue on acquisition of smartPulse
Led by Frankfurt partner Maximilian Broermann (PICTURED), global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised energy software provider Volue, a pioneer of the green transformation, on the acquisition of software developer smartPulse, a leading European platform for short-term power trading and battery optimization for asset operators and aggregators.
With this acquisition, Volue further strengthens its position through smartPulse’s proven platform and experienced team, significantly accelerating its expansion into Central and Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, and Turkey. By combining decades of expertise, Volue brings together comprehensive market knowledge in one of Europe’s fastest-growing energy markets. The combined offering will now encompass a complete range of solutions in forecasting, position management, dispatch planning and nomination, day-ahead bidding, intraday trading, battery optimization, and asset connectivity.
Hogan Lovells provided comprehensive advice to Volue on all relevant aspects of the transaction. The advisory work was conducted in cooperation with the law firm Hergüner.
