Hogan Lovells advises FLEX Capital on acquisition of 3C Deutschland

Led by Hamburg partner Dr. Jan Philipp Feigen and counsel Dr. Daniel Mattig (BOTH PICTURED, LEFT AND RIGHT), global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised private equity fund FLEX Capital on the acquisition of 3C Deutschland, a provider of digital claims management software in the German-speaking region.

FLEX Capital is acquiring the company through a carve-out alongside the existing management team from global data and technology company Experian. CEO Thorsten Haag and CTO and co-founder Uwe Mengs will remain operationally involved and will invest together with FLEX in the next growth phase. The objective is to further strengthen the market position in the DACH region and strategically advance the platform, including through new product lines and the expansion of existing modules with technological added value, such as AI-based functions for automation.

FLEX Capital is a private equity fund founded by successful serial entrepreneurs that invests in profitable and growing companies from Germany’s internet and software mid-market. Currently, the FLEX portfolio comprises ten company platforms.

Hogan Lovells supported FLEX Capital throughout the entire transaction process and provided comprehensive legal advice.
