Gilde Healthcare launches new neuroimaging platform with support from Greenberg Traurig

Greenberg Traurig has provided legal counsel to Gilde Healthcare in the establishment of a new global platform for neuroimaging technology. As part of this complex, cross-border transaction, Greenberg Traurig comprehensively advised the private equity investor on the parallel acquisitions of NIRx Medical Technologies (Germany/USA) and Artinis Medical Systems (Netherlands). Both companies are recognized leaders in the field of functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). The combination of these two entities forms a new global market leader in fNIRS technologies, aiming to drive innovation and the application of advanced neuroimaging research tools worldwide.

Gilde Healthcare is a specialized European healthcare investor headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands, managing over €2.6 billion across its Private Equity and Venture/Growth fund strategies.

The team of advisors

Under the leadership of Berlin-based partner Henrik Armah (PICTURED), an international Greenberg Traurig team – with attorneys from offices in Germany, the United States, and the Netherlands – advised Gilde Healthcare on both M&A transactions.
