TaylorWessing, Johanna Götz appointed as equity partner

Taylor Wessing is strengthening its equity partnership with Dr. Johanna Götz (PICTURED) effective May 1, 2025. The 39-year-old was elected to the equity partnership by a large majority at this year’s partner meeting. Johanna Götz began her career in 2015 as an Associate at the firm’s Hamburg office. She was promoted to Senior Associate three years later and appointed as a Salary Partner in 2020.

As a specialist attorney for copyright and media law, Johanna Götz primarily advises internet intermediaries such as search engine providers, access, hosting, and content providers on media, copyright, and data protection law, with a focus on liability issues and regulatory requirements. She is an experienced litigation attorney in this field and represents her clients before German courts at all levels, as well as before the European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights.
